About
Ellie Richards teaches woodworking in Los Angeles and at craft schools around the country.
She has spent about fifteen years making, teaching, and building community around woodworking. Her classes draw from vernacular folk tradition and the hand tools that come with it.
How I teach
My goal is to provide an experience of being present in the process, to be challenged by a new craft and technique, to leave empowered to take on more.
